The Cathedral is open every day from the 8am until 5pm. Please note that, in respect for the Sacred Liturgy, tours are not allowed during posted service times.

Through the Darkness into New Light

These free sessions on the third Friday of each month provide information on the grieving process and on tips on coping with the loss of a loved one. This is an opportunity to mourn in a safe, private and confidential setting. Refreshments will be provided. To reach Monsignor Bowe Room go to the Cleary Street (West) side of the Cathedral and enter through the iron gate and enter the door at the right. Refreshments will be provided. Contact the Facilitator at (415) 567-2020 Ext. 203 or email christophsandoval@gmail.com. Individual one-on-one Spiritual Care Support is also available by appointment.
