Walk for Life, and Walk for Life Mass

January 25 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

Mass at the Cathedral 9:30 am celebrated by Archbishop Alexander Sample from Portland, Oregon.  Travel to Civic Center Plaza for the Rally starting 12:30 pm. Walk to Justin Herman Plaza starting at 1:30 pm.  Join fellow Catholics and pro-lifers from all over California and beyond as we stand up for the smallest among us. Crab Feed Dinner

Chinese New Year Eucharistic Celebration & Ancestor Veneration Ceremony.

February 1 @ 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm

The Chinese Ministry extends a warm invitation  to join Bishop Justice, Bishop Wang, and the Chinese community for this celebration at the Cathedral.  There is a fundraising banquet starting at 5:00 pm in Patron's Hall. For tickets see the website  and/or contact Fr. Peter Zhai, Dir. of Chinese Ministry. The liturgy will be livestreamed on the Archdiocesan website.

World Day of the Sick

A special Mass at 11:00 am is a "Celebration for God's Special People" sponsored by the Order of Malta and celebrated by Archbishop Cordileone. Adults and children with disabilities are asked to join this community recognition of members with special needs. A reception will follow the Mass in the Event Center.
