Welcome to the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, the mother church of the Archdiocese of San Francisco. The Cathedral is the site of beautiful liturgies and concerts, and home to a vibrant parish community and large event center. It is a solemn and sacred space for private prayer in the midst of the busy city. Through the Darkness into New Light

These free sessions on the third Friday of each month provide information on the grieving process and on tips on coping with the loss of a loved one. This is an opportunity to mourn in a safe, private and confidential setting. Refreshments will be provided. To reach Monsignor Bowe Room go to the Cleary Street (West)  side of the Cathedral and enter through the iron gate and enter the door at the right. Refreshments will be provided. Contact the Facilitator at (415) 567-2020 Ext. 203 or email christophsandoval@gmail.com.  Individual one-on-one Spiritual Care Support is also available by appointment.
